Moon Industry Inc.
Moon Industry develops technology to extract water from lunar ice, the propellant for affordable space travel.

Water on the moon exists as ice in permanently shadowed craters near the poles. Split into hydrogen and oxygen, it becomes rocket propellant that can be produced and used entirely in space, drastically lowering the cost of deep space missions without the enormous expense of Earth launches.
Moon Industry Inc. was founded to make this extraction technically and commercially viable. The team consists of around thirty engineers and scientists, largely from TU Delft, working on robotics, processing technology, and mission design.
In 2022, Moon Industry was selected as a semi-finalist for the NASA "Break the Ice Lunar Challenge", the only European team in the competition. This places us among the global frontrunners in serious lunar exploitation.
The cost barrier to space isn't in the rockets, it's in the propellant. Whoever extracts water on the moon wins the right to industrialise space.
Teams with proven depth in robotics, fluid systems, or mission design
A technical advantage that cannot be copied with money alone
A realistic path to a first paid milestone
Founders who understand that timelines here are different from software
